Feature of the Month: Configurable Tables Now Exportable as CSV

By | 11. December 2014

In amsl, tables with ERM-information are very easily to arrangend and configured. Now those tables are also exportable as csv files – with only one single click. Afterwards the information may be processed in spreadsheets or passed on.

Adding a new column

Adding a new column

The list view of resources allows to combine arbitrary properties as columns of a table. With a click on the property that is to be added, it apperas as a new column of the table. The data is sortable by each row with a click on one of the sorting arrows displayed next to the column heading.

Filtering the data

Filtering the data

Further refinement can be achieved by filtering the data. The multiple and quite complex filters are configurable with the help of the filter box on the lower right side of the window. All currently active filters are displayed in this box. To add a new one, a click on “Edit” > “Add” opens a dialog allowing to specify a variety of settings for the filter.

When the table is otimized, a click on “Export as csv” saves the whole table, including all currently undisplayed pages. All settings and filters are respected, so the exported and the original table are completely identical. For later reimports to amsl or other use cases with Linked Data context, there is the possibility of exporting a version of the file with URIs instead ob labels.
